Privacy notes

A general description of the information RankWiser handles, written to be read once and understood.

What we handle

We handle the details needed to run an account and answer API calls. That is deliberately short.

When you sign in with Google, we receive the basic profile details Google passes on for sign-in, so we can create and recognise your account. We do not ask for a card, because top-ups use USDT on TRC-20.

When you call the API, we process the request you send, such as the domains you ask about and your key, so that we can return a response and update your credit balance.

Why we handle it

We use account details to let you sign in, to keep your balance and to protect keys from misuse. We use request data to answer calls, to bill credits and to investigate faults.

We do not sell account details. Where we rely on another service, such as Google for sign-in, that service has its own notice, and you should read it.

Cookies and the free lookup

The free domain lookup on our pages sends the domain you type to our service so that we can return a score. A signed-in session needs a small amount of browser storage to stay active.

If you block that storage, public pages still work, but the account area may not.

Your choices and contact

You can stop using the service at any time. You can ask about your account details through the account page at /account.php once you are signed in, and we will reply there.

We may update these notes when the service changes. Dates matter here. The page shows its last revision date near the top, and earlier versions are replaced. Nothing here replaces legal advice, and you should take it for your own situation if it matters.

Third parties and payments

Sign-in goes through Google, and its handling of your data is covered by Google's own notice. Top-ups are made in USDT on TRC-20, which happens on a public blockchain outside our control.

We collect no more than the service needs. Keep it that way. If you are unsure whether something you are about to send is appropriate, leave it out. The domains you look up are public names, and you should avoid putting secrets into any request.

Keep your key safe, because anyone who holds it can spend your credit. If you think it leaked, tell us from the account page and stop using it.
